These terms govern the use of the website usometria.com.br and of the Usometria platform (dashboard, API, agents and browser extension).
1. Acceptance
By accessing the website or using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you use Usometria on behalf of an organization, you declare that you are authorized to accept them on its behalf. The use of the platform by customer organizations is also governed by the contract entered into with Usometria, which prevails in case of conflict.
2. Description of Usometria
Usometria is a platform for intelligence on the use of workstations, software and digital resources. It organizes technical telemetry — time on, in use and idle, applications, websites, sessions and simultaneity — into indicators and reports. Usometria reports facts about usage; interpretation and decisions are up to the organization.
3. Account and credentials
Access to the dashboard is personal. You must keep your credentials confidential, use a strong password and, preferably, enable two-step verification. Report any suspicion of misuse immediately. Accounts are created by invitation from the organization's administrator; there is no public registration.
4. Permitted use
It is prohibited, among other things, to:
- use the platform for unlawful purposes or in disagreement with data protection and labor legislation;
- attempt to access data of other organizations or circumvent access and security controls;
- interfere with the operation of the services, overload them or carry out security tests without authorization;
- copy, resell or reverse engineer the platform, except where the law permits.
5. Responsibilities of the customer organization
The organization that uses Usometria is responsible for: having an adequate legal basis for the collection of telemetry in its environments; informing the people who use the workstations when necessary; defining who may access the data and with which profile; configuring the platform in accordance with its legal, contractual and internal policy obligations; and handling data subjects in relation to the data collected in its environments, with Usometria's support.
6. Installation and use of the agents
The agent and the browser extension are installed by the organization on workstations under its administration. The organization must install them only on equipment that it has the right to administer, keep the installation tokens confidential and revoke workstations that should no longer send data. The agent does not collect keystrokes, passwords, screenshots, camera, microphone or file contents.
7. Privacy and transparency
The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy and in the Cookie Policy. The platform offers access profiles that limit the exposure of individual data — for example, the manager profile views aggregated indicators without titles, addresses or individual history.
8. Availability
We use reasonable efforts to keep the services available, but they may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or by factors beyond our control.
9. Intellectual property
The Usometria brand, the software, the design and the content of the website and the platform belong to Usometria or its licensors. The data entered or collected by the customer organization remains the organization's.
10. Limitations and liability
Usometria's indicators depend on collection on the workstations and may be affected by installation, network or configuration failures; the platform itself signals when collection is incomplete. Decisions made based on the information in the platform are the organization's responsibility.
11. Suspension and termination
Accounts or access may be suspended in case of misuse, risk to security or violation of these terms. The organization's administrator may deactivate users at any time; the audit history is preserved.
12. Changes
These terms may be updated. The date of the last update appears at the top; relevant changes will be communicated through the appropriate channels.
